Unit Description: Come work for the world's leading private employer of Registered Dietitians! -Sodexo is seeking a Full Time -Dietitian Nutritionist I-HC to join our dynamic team at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro, NC. - This hospital is a 300 bed acute care community hospital located 1 hour from Raleigh and 1.5 hours from the NC beaches. The position will work three days at Wayne Memorial Hospital and will work two days remote for the Wellness Center. - - -$5000 Sign-On Bonus is AvailableStart with 3 weeks' vacation and 3 personal days per calendar year!Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!Reimbursement towards continuing education events!Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!Free Parking and discounted mealsPart Time Remote work is available! - -The Dietitian will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and selected candidate will:

• Be a Registered Dietitian or RD Eligible for certification.
• Prior experience in an acute care setting (Internship may count for experience)
• Maintain -responsibility for comprehensive nutrition assessments/reassessments, intervention including nutrition support, education, and counseling of acute care patients per the Nutrition Care Process model
• Provide education to patients and staff regarding diets
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to identify disease specific needs and provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served
• Prior nutrition support experience is preferred
• Project an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct with foodservice staff, physicians, nursing and other ancillary staff
• Outpatient experience is preferred
• Weekend coverage on a rotating basis as well as rotating holiday coverage is required
• Participate in -food service -quality assurance checks, such as meal rounds, test trays and food service training
