Neurointensivist Nocturnist Opening in Greenville, NC _x000D_Raleigh 86m_x000D x000D_Seeking a board eligible/certified Neuro-Critical Care physician to work as a Neurointensivist Nocturnist._x000D x000D_ Employed_x000D_ Candidates should be fellowship trained in neuro-critical care medicine and have knowledge and practical skills in neurologic diagnosis and management, neuroimaging, neurotrauma, stroke diagnosis and management, invasive monitoring, intra-cranial pressure management, as well as ventilator and hemodynamic management. _x000D_ Join growing NSICU and Stroke teams and will provide care for critically ill patients with neurologic and neurosurgical illnesses in Medical Centers 24-bed NSICU along with Stroke team coverage. _x000D_ Join a program inclusive of 4 neurointensivists and 4 vascular neurologists_x000D_ Established neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons including 2 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, inpatient stroke neurologists, neurointensivists, neurologists and a large team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants_x000D_ Team of 11 dedicated NSICU advanced practice providers who provide 24/7 coverage and 4 dedicated Stroke advanced practice providers who provide daytime coverage_x000D_ Academic appointment with East Carolina University at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor_x000D_ ACGME neurology residency recently approved and to start in 2025_x000D_ Strong investment in technology including Gamma Knife, NeuroBlate, and RAPID_x000D_ Over 600 endovascular procedures performed annually to include Subarachnoid coilings _x000D_ Over 1000 neurological cases performed annually to include complex spine and brain tumor resections _x000D_ Over 1500 annual admissions with stroke as primary diagnosis _x000D_ Nationally recognized by Beckers Healthcare as a top 100 program for neurosurgery_x000D_ 974-bed level 1 trauma facility
