  • Traveler Experience: unit does NOT accept first time travelers
  • Must be incredibly flexible; shift will cover medical/surgical, cardiac, progressive care/step down, and stroke care
  • PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Caring for patients across the inpatient spectrum
  • SPECIAL PROCEDURES/UNIT DETAILS: FLOAT POOL UNIT

    • RTO after booking not allowed; RTO may lead to cancel
    • Skills: Telemetry, Vents
    • Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: NIGHTS 36 hours only, Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025
      • Float Requirement: Yes, to three separate campuses
      • Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
      • SCHEDULING TYPE: Based on scheduling gaps
      • UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Float Pool currently covers three separate campuses
        • Candidates will float all medical/surgical floors, PCU's, Cardiac floors, Rehab, BHH, PACU
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers must provide interview availability for the next 72 hours when submitting
          • Ratios: 1:3-6, Flex based on patient populations (PCU-M/S)
          • UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
          • SCRUBS: Navy
          • Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
