Binding Minds is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina.Job Description & Requirements

  Skills: administer chemo. Experience in an inpatient setting is required, Med/Surg, Colostomy care, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin, Insulin, Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Surgical drains, Chest Tubes (Emerson/Pleur-Evac), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
  Certs: Chemotherapy administration certification is required prior to start; required to obtain prior to start. We will accept travelers that do not currently have the ONC cert! BLS.
  
  ***Primarily medical-surgical patients with Oncology history and occasional Chemotherapy administration***
  Target Ratios: 1:6-7
  Shift: Nights; Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!
  RTO: 7 days MAX - NO CHRISTMAS RTO; 36 or 48 hours. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48.
  Call Requirement: Call required if called off on a prescheduled shift.
  Float Requirement: Floating required to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding, such as inpatient holding in the ED, or any alternate medical patient care location.
