Talent Healthcare Staffing Inc is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina.Job Description & Requirements

  • Ratios: 1:6 for floor for surgical/medicine inpatient patients.
    
  • Shift: 12 HR NIGHTS; 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!!
    
  • RTO: 7 days MAX
    
  • Float Requirement: when needed to like units
    
  • Weekend Requirement: every other weekend
    
  • Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed
    
  • RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

    • Minimum Years of Experience: Must have 2 years of surgical unit experience
      
    • Traveler Experience: Travel experience is preferred by not required

    • Required Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response Teams, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Surgical drains, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
      
    • Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIH
