We are seeking BE/BC Emergency Medicine NP for a full-time employed position to join our group in Wilmington, NC community. • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough initial assessments and triage patients based on the severity of their condition, ensuring timely and appropriate care.
• Medical Treatment: Administer treatment and provide medical interventions for a wide range of emergency medical conditions, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and more.
• Diagnostic Procedures: Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as X-rays, EKGs, and laboratory tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Medication Management: Administer medications, including intravenous, oral, and intramuscular medications, as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, assessments, interventions, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborative Care: Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with clear and empathetic explanations of diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Emergency Procedures: Assist in emergency procedures, including intubation, CPR, and other life-saving interventions as needed.
• Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and facility policies to ensure compliance and patient safety.Qualifications:

• Current North Carolina Physician Assistant license and certification.
• Previous experience in emergency medicine or a related field is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• ACLS and PALS certification (or willingness to obtain).
