Holly Hill Hospital in Raleigh, NC is Hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Are you a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner seeking a rewarding opportunity? Join our specialized team at Holly Hill Hospital, providing acute inpatient treatment services for diverse psychiatric issues in both males and females. Weekend and PTO coverage. Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric medical care in collaboration with psychiatric physicians
- Conduct Psychiatric Admitting Evaluations for newly admitted patients
- Ensure appropriate orders and recommendations for treatment are made
- Conduct reviews of patients' psychiatric/medical status as needed
- Communicate with families on significant psychiatric/medical issues
- Participate in utilization reviews with insurance companies
- Make appropriate discharge recommendations and prescriptions
- Countersign all telephone orders in the patient record Requirements:
- PhD or Master s Degree in Nursing from a recognized school
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in North Carolina
- Board Certified through ANCC as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health
- Current National DEA Certificate - Minimum of one year post-graduate experience as a PMHNP Our Facility:
