  • Dental Hygienist License: Current license in South Carolina and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Dentistry Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification: Current CPR certification required.Preferred Experience
    • Hygiene Experience: New and seasoned hygienists welcome.
    • Technical Skills: Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
    • Clinical Skills: Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and maintenance of patients' dental health.
    • Clinical Needs: Meet the clinical needs of our office.Physical Requirements
      • Physical Abilities: Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
      • Prolonged Sitting and Standing: Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
      • Lifting: Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
