Endocrinology Opportunity in Greenville, NC

ECU Health Physicians and the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at East Carolina University s Brody School of Medicine, are seeking a BE/BC Endocrinologist to join their growing division. The successful candidate will provide clinical care in the areas of general endocrinology, diabetes, and lipid disorders and will teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.

Applicants should have interest in participating in clinical trials and/or conducting primary research.

-Participation and contribution in active clinical trials and other scholarly research efforts led by the endocrinology division
-The Division is home to a one-year Diabetes Fellowship Program for Primary Care Physicians and a fully accredited two-year Endocrine Fellowship Program (two fellows per year)
-Tenure track or fixed term appointments are available

Requirements:
-MD from an appropriately accredited institution
-Completed at least a three-year Internal Medicine Residency, and completed at least a two-year Endocrinology Fellowship
-Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
-Strong clinical, teaching, and interpersonal skills are required.
