We are seeking part-time and PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Registered Nurses (RN) for night shifts at Carteret County Jail. This position offers flexible scheduling and an opportunity to provide patient care in a correctional setting, including administering medications and performing emergency interventions. Location: -Carteret County Jail

Open Position: - -PT LPN or RN

Schedule: -2- 12 hr Night shifts per week 6p - 6:30am w/Alternating Weekends

Duties include, but are not limited to: -

• 
  
• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) -
  
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  
• Follow through with established treatment plans
  
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
