Correctional Nurse LPN or RN Nights at Southern Health Partners summary:
The Correctional Nurse LPN or RN is responsible for delivering patient care within a correctional facility, evaluating symptoms and progress, and administering medications following established nursing standards. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, allowing nurses to work two 12-hour night shifts per week, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time for the right candidate. Teamwork and adaptability in a secure environment are fundamental to this position, alongside additional benefits including daily pay and continuing education opportunities.

Location: -Carteret County Jail

Open Position: - -PT LPN or RN

Schedule: -2- 12 hr Night shifts per week 6p - 6:30am w/Alternating Weekends

***Could be a full-time position for right candidate

Duties include, but are not limited to: -

• 
  
• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) -
  
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  
• Follow through with established treatment plans
  
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
