Position Details:
Title: Electronic Specialist
Location: Kinston, NC
Shift: 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am) Sun - Thurs + (Overtime average 50-55hrs per week)
Compensation: $30-$36.50+/hr (Pay range based on experience); $1.00/hr Shift diff

Position Description:
The purpose of this position is to provide for the efficient and continuous operation of all plant systems and equipment with as little downtime as possible. This individual will install, service, trouble-shoot and repair all types of electronic and electrical controls and equipment and work closely with other maintenance personnel on his/her shift. This person will be responsible for all necessary paperwork and documentation of calibrations sheets, scale certification sheets, PM documentation, etc. as they relate to the job. This person will also provide technical assistance to trainees in all crafts as needed in the day-to-day operation of the plant.
Requirements:
A candidate for this role should have a high school diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience. Candidates should have a strong electrical background with knowledge of electronics and electrical theory. They should have a working knowledge of PLC's (Allen Bradley and Rockwell software), ladder logic and associated hardware, with experience with lockout/tagout procedures. Basic knowledge of motor control systems and working knowledge of inverters and frequency drives. Should be able to read complex electrical and electronic wiring diagrams.
